Employment Opportunity – Watershed Planner
Grey Sauble Conservation is looking for a Watershed Planner.
This is a senior position in a busy Planning and Regulation Department. In this role you will make and recommend decisions on the management of Natural Hazards such as flood zones, protection of Natural Heritage, stormwater management reviews, studies related to flooding and or wave uprush and related municipal zoning recommendations, and provide support to the Water Resources Department. The ideal candidate is an organized and results-oriented multitasker able to communicate water management related policies and concepts effectively to the public, municipal staff and co-workers. He or she will have a minimum of five (5) years experience including development planning and/or regulations, watershed management and hydrology. Knowledge of the land base within the Grey Sauble Watershed would be an asset.
