April 29th – Annual Arbour Day Tree Sale – gets Bigger & Better
The Grey Sauble Conservation Annual Tree Sale is your chance to purchase trees, shrubs and wildflowers. There will be lots to choose from – 30 tree seedlings, 9 types of shrubs to attract wildlife an 20 larger varieties of trees.
There will be “native” wildflowers. Anne Lennox, Grey Sauble Conservation’s Forestry and Species Coordinator said, “The interest and demand for an opportunity to purchase wildflowers has pushed our sale inventory to 30 different plants. People are keen to plant what is native to our area and help out our pollinators.”
Our Foundation Directors will be offering food and coffee with the generous sponsorship of the Owen Sound Zehrs grocery store!
The sale starts at 8:00 am and ends at 12:00 noon. This is a one day only sale on Saturday April 29th, rain or shine, at the Grey Sauble Conservation Administration Centre located 237897 Inglis Falls Road. We would appreciate you bringing bags or containers for your trees or wildflowers.
Prices range from $1.00 to $30.00.
